Large antique Armand Marseille 990 baby doll “Edward” **sold***

Edward is a delightful 1920’s antique German Armand Marseille 990 baby doll wearing 1950’s blue knitted outfit along with cream knitted undies (slightly tatty). Edward is 21 inches in heigh with blue sleep eyes, good colour and curly brown replacement wig. He has no chips, cracks or hairlines to his bisque head. His body is strong and sturdy with light surface wear but nothing major, all fingers/toes intact.

“Eliza” antique Kammer & Reinhardt 126 flirty eyed mama baby doll

Eliza is a very special antique German Kammer & Reindhart character baby doll with “rockabye go to sleep” eyes which flirt perfectly from side to side. She also has a working mama!. 19 inches in height, Eliza has a replacement vintage ringlet wig and open mouth with just the one pearly front tooth!. The light test showed no chips, cracks or hairline damage to the bisque head. Body is clean, solid and sturdy but does have surface wear. All fingers and toes are intact. Her body would have been manufactured in two halves to accomodate the concertina “mama” device in her tummy (still working!). Eliza wears her original broderie anglaise under garments and vintage pink floral dress.

Large Schutzmeister & Quendt antique German baby doll “Annie” ***sold***

Annie is a circa 1910 large antique German Schutzmeister & Quendt character baby doll, 20 inches in height, she has fixed blue eyes, vintage ringlet wig (untidy), the cutest dimples and open mouth with teeth. No chips, cracks or hairline damage to the bisque head. Body is solid and sturdy but does have surface wear, rubbed out writing to chest and wear around the body openings. The S&Q baby bodies were made in two halves to accomadate the concertina “mama” device in her tummy (now non working). Annie’s old pink knitted dress is quite worn and faded. The undies are fine, bootees are newer.

Lola is a circa 1940’s British ethnic doll who comes wearing delightful vintage “Sunday best” dress, old knitted dress underneath and just the one of her original brass hoop earrings. Lola is a very lightweight “pot” ceramic doll, 13 inches in height with original painted features (couple of rogue dots of lip paint but looks much worse on pics). 1940’s/50’s Flirty Eyed Australian Verna Antique/Vintage Doll

Rare find 18 inch Australian Verna 1940’s/50’s hard plastic doll with amazing flirty/sleep eyes which sweep from side to side perfectly. The original factory stringing has worn a tiny bit loose over the years but still safe and she poses well as you can see. She has a non working mama and rubs here and there. No cracks or odours, wig probably been replaced. So hard to find here in the UK, she’s perfect for display in her custom made outfit.

Antique German bisque AM KOPPELSDORF 320 baby doll “Martha”

Martha is a 1920’s antique German AM KOPPELSDORF 320 baby doll, 18 inches in height, she has fixed blue eyes, lovely complexion, open mouth with all her teeth. She wears a newer red ringlet wig which suits her well. There are no visible chips, cracks or hairlines to the bisque head. Her body has surface wear with a paint crack to back of one thigh (see pic) and chips to heels and toe tips. The arms have been professionally replaced but this isn’t noticeable as they’re a really good match for the originals. All fingers are intact. Martha comes in newer knitted outfit of dungarees, jacket and bonnet.

Antique French SFBJ bisque head 60 doll complete with her original outfit (damage to hat). 8 inches in height, she has good bisque, original painted features and hair wig. She’s on her original straight leg composition body, jointed head and limbs. The original factory stringing is a bit loose but still secure. 1930’s MERRYTHOUGHT ANTIQUE CLOTH DOLL “EMILE LITTLER’S CINDERELLA”  

1930’s Merrythought “Emile Littler’s Cinderella” antique cloth doll with beautiful original painted features, pressed felt face and sparse blonde mohair wig. Emile Littler was an English theatrical impresario, producer and author born in 1903. His wife Cora Goffin was the star of many of his productions and it’s thought the doll was made in her image.
