Hi I’m the Dolly Fairy at Diane’s Dolls!.. 

Based in Barnsley, South Yorkshire, U.K. my Diane’s Dolls business was established in 1999 with the online sales of antique/vintage dolls and doll’s hospital services. Over the years I have gained an honest and professional reputation in the doll sales and repair world and became known as “The Dolly Fairy” which also became the name of my doll’s hospital.

I stock antique/vintage dolls for collectors of all levels to buy and supply dolls, parts and accessories for film sets, theatre props, TV studios and even theme park rides!. I’m often asked to appear on TV programmes to share my doll repair and restoration knowledge too.

Unfotunately I can’t offer identification or valuation services of your own dolls and bears .. I recommend you contact your local auction house for this service or one of the online Facebook groups.

  10. Poor Rosebud ,my doll from the 50’s ,was in a bad state.
    I sent her to Diane and last night she came back, beautifully and safely packed. I was amazed and delighted to see Rosebud looking clean and beautiful so instead of putting her in a box she is now sitting on a chair so I can admire her.
    How I wish I’d known about Diane years ago!

  15. Diane has done an amazing job of renovating my old pot dolly, not only restringing but cleaning and dressing her. I am delighted as she is now in a fit condition to pass on to my granddaughter’s to cherish as I did. Thank you Diane x

Diane did a brilliant job of re-stringing my Sasha doll who can very happily now stand up again next to her sister Sasha’s after months of being bedridden with either her legs or her head falling off, which was a sorry state of affairs. Thank you so much. I need to send you my poor baby Sasha soon as he has decided to undo his arms.. !!

  23. My 1930s baby doll Jemima had been in six separate pieces for years because I could not find anyone locally to re-string her. Having found Diane’s website and communicating directly with her gave me the confidence to parcel Jemima up and post her off. She is now back home and I am delighted with the result. I would certainly recommend Diane’s work and reassuring manner.

I cannot recommend Diane`s dolls high enough , anyone thinking of buying from her can be assured they will get the doll as described in same condition. I am now buying another AM Dream Baby Doll and cannot wait to get her home!   36. I now have quite a large number of Diane’s dolls : I collect from the 1940s and 1950s. It all started a few years ago, when I spotted a gorgeous black toddler doll. Diane is streets ahead with her fantastic service and website. I totally trust her honest descriptions, which I copy in to my photo album of every doll I purchase : a great way to keep a record. I find Diane to be a true professional, with a truly human touch. Never stop, Diane………..couldn’t collect without you.

Diane is fast to answer messages, extremely accommodating and the quality of her antique teddy bears is amazing! Posted out exactly when promised to ensure delivery before the birthday date required, well wrapped, opening my parcel was a delight! Don’t buy from anyone else – Diane is the best!
